Illini we're never top 5 this year the highest they were was either top 8 or top 10. Honestly they would be a higher seed if they didn't lose early in the big ten tourney (they won the big 10 this year). I actually thought Perdue was a better team than the Illini this year, but the Illini are playing terribly today. The guards got to get going so Kofi can get better looks.
