I don’t even care about players sitting out bowl games anymore, as a fan of the sport it sucks but I do get it especially after when happened to Jaylon Smith in the Fiesta Bowl. I also understood Ja’Marr Chase sitting out the Covid year (on a side note, Jamie Newman sitting out that year really ruined his football future).
But bailing on your team halfway through the season cause your team has two losses would be a horrible look, it’s not like Caleb been playing lights out either especially in the ND game so he gotta share some blame as well.

If there was ever someone who deserved it, it’d probably be Lincoln Riley though. It’s malpractice to everyone on that team, esp Caleb, that he still had his buddy employed at DC coming into this year.

He wouldn't ever get into politics. He may voice his opinion about things but he's not Tommy Turberville with it. He's just a football purist that doesn't like the direction the game is going.
[and I actually agree with him on that bc it is no longer the pageantry of college football. It bother's me when they say a player's name and then say "a transfer from ....." I can feel the push to normalize the transfer portal but I can feel it failing once rules catch up. And when it does... Just call them American Football sports clubs...pay the kids and give the colleges some kick backs for them using their facilities and brand image. ]
Bruh... simply...he has lost control over this team this season....period. I saw the writing on the wall for this season when i saw our two all-american LB's out of shape in game 1. I've never seen a Clemson team this slow and when i saw Duke flying to the ball and our team taking bad angles and moving like they were running with weighted vest...something was off. They couldn't tackle anymore and it seemed like they read too many pre-season draft projections. Then when you come off a bye week vs a team that has dropped 2 games, confidence low & QB1 hurt and play like this....it's something going on in the locker room. And i think it's a combo of him being too loyal to the seniority players and not meshing with the current coaching staff.
Think about it. He built the Clemson staff and coached with a hunger to never be homeless again. He was able to keep that staff together so long because he overpaid them to make sure it wasn't a money reason they left...but instead a good opportunity. While he was learning to be a HC... he had hella experienced coaches around him teaching the younger one. So when they retired or took analyst roles the continuity was there. Now... after like 10 yrs of no significant staff turnover... Clemson lost Jeff Scott in 2020, 2021 our AD left to go to [ironically] Miami, Tony Elliott & Brent Venables in 2022, then let Streeter go to hire Riley this past offseason... all while having a DC who never was a DC before learning while on the job the past 2 years.
Dabo's best move is to let Riley hire some familiar faces on his offensive staff instead of the ones that's been there. Next is to move our DC to the box... the dude has a great vision of breaking down film but teams know he is young so he can get out coached at times. So do it from the box until you actual have a great feel for it on the sideline. Hire an experienced OL coach... and Lastly.... hire Jeff Scott back. Not for OC...but to be the WR coach again. He was the WR coach for all of those great WR's we had and he was one of our best recruiters.
Breh...you fully satisfied w/ the QB play? Especially comparing him to the last decade of elite qb play from Stroud, Fields, Haskins, Barrett/Miller/Cardale...?!
Stroud still on the team you the favorite to win this entire thing this year....not saying it couldn't still happen tho

He’s not none of those quarterbacks so I don’t expect him to be. For all the inconsistency he has had he only has thrown 1 pick all season. Gotta give the kid time to grow.
