Right. He could have worded it better like "why haven't their been more opportunities down field for you all? Is the young QB still getting use to the looks defenses are giving him" and other shyt along those lines. But asking a coach why they don't just chuck it up and tell the WR to go get it is nuts lol.

Franklin def could've spun it tho on some McVay shyt and got in his IQ bag and gained some extra goodwill from casuals/media/analysts alike. But I'm also here for the "you're making me feel uncomfortable" jokes

It was fukking hilarious. Me and a couple other people were cracking up as quietly as we could. Sucks because the reporter that asked is a good dude lol…Franklin's a bit of a dikk but I wouldn't say he's all that unlikable. He does have a penchant for occasionally showing up media members

That nicca know once Caleb gone, it's back to the gutter.

I'll never say that bc Riley is def a fantastic schemer and play caller.

But he's had abnormal run success with Mayfield, Murray, Hurts, Rattler to a smaller degree, and now Caleb, plus super talented WRs. That's an incredible run of talent but it covered up mass defensive issues that may not mesh well with the big 10 style of play.

Guess we'll see

Y'all got a backup plan? You think Riley's going to the Big 10 schedule and weather with Malachi Nelson and Alex Grinch as dc?

I don't envy a college coach's lifestyle. Grind 24/7 all season, then chase around 16-17 year olds begging for them to come to your school. NFL season is longer, and the pressure is probably higher, but they don't need to kiss ass like that.
