Texas is 9-1 and went into Bryant Denny and came out with the W


If you don’t think they’re elite thats one thing but to say they’re not good is crazy talk.

Have you watch them since? They had 2 epic collapses in back to back games and they're lucky to have won. They've trended down ever since that game.

Had k-State not missed a PAT, Texas would've lost in regulation.

Sorry, but teams that are barely holding on to win in November at home vs mid teams aren't true title contenders.

And let's be real, Bama the first 2-3 weeks is not the same Bama as now. Milroe coming into his own, running game establishes itself. D isn't where it should be but they're a much better team than in September.

If Texas wins out they'll get in obviously but the way they've played lately, I expect them to drop another game.

Texas is a good to great team that has a legit chance to make the playoffs. But personally I don't have them in the list of 2-4 teams I feel can truly win a title

Exactly. The absurdity of saying there aren’t 15 good teams in the nation is beyond ridiculous and then being unwilling to even name 10 good teams is peak laziness

Just say you don’t follow college football outside of Ohio, Michigan, UGA and Bama and don’t actually know the answer to the question @Lucky_Lefty

I don’t even know any real CFB fans that watch the sport from the perspective of “only teams that can compete for a chip”

I agree and I'm looking forward to watching Oregon vs non conference opponents, hopefully in the playoffs

Only reason ppl are tentative about uga is bc a three-peat seems so far fetched, historically, but I haven't seen a team this year that I firmly believe can beat them

Lol..Lanning would never go to A&M. Most overrated job in college.

Now, if I was the AD, I would look at Kyle Whittingham from Utah as my first choice.

It makes the sport a lot less enjoyable if the criteria for good is like you said “only teams that can compete for a chip”. There’s a lot of good teams that won’t compete for a title but are still good teams and you can make that distinction pretty clearly imo. Everyone isn’t Bama, OSU, Michigan or UGA every year
