SEC would NEVER be left out. Another reason why I can't wait for the 12 game playoff format. It's ridiculous to have two teams of the same conference in the playoffs at this small scale also.

Both Bama and UGA get in with this scenarioTexas who beat them, potentially undefeated Washington or Oregon who is ranked ahead with a top 5 win, and an undefeated Florida State. That’ll be some prime fukkery for sure if Alabama wins. SEC might get left out.
If Bama beats Georgia, be prepared for the SEC to be left out of the playoff. Texas would get in over both teams as a conference champion and H2H over Bama. This is not debatable.

You are speaking from emotion and clouded judgement due to a decade of SEC koolaid. I am speaking based off the guidelines given to the committee. The guidelines mention H2H and conference champion being significant factors in rankings. Under the scenario I painted neither Georgia nor Bama have a case over us. Articulate it if I’m wrong.
