Current FMVP went at 41...there's too much talent out there now a days to waste any pick
The problem is that gms and scouts look at the same 10 players every year. If i'm a Gm and I'm paid to travel and look at games, I'm finding a diamond in the rough EVERY YEAR. It's not about just drafting talent, but it's about placing talent in the best situation possible to succeed. No one wants to do their job and travel to these no name colleges and watch games. Krause had his eye on Pippen years before trading for him on Draft day. He know. Red Aurbach knew Reggie Lewis was the truth at Northeastern

Yea am I missing something

When has the 1st rd of the draft lasted 3 damn hrs?????
I don't remember it ever being this long. Over 30 years ago in high school I used to watch and record the NBA draft. by 1130, I was switching through ESPN, CNN, and other channels looking at draft day reports. They literally just started the 2nd round past 11 haha
