There's zero hype b/c bama isn't in it. They won't even bother airing on television until bama makes the playoffs. This year's winner will have an * since they didn't have to go thru bama to get there.

They just didn't deserve it this year, but had SMU beaten Clemson they would've been in b/c they started off ranked high in the preseason. That OU game was the nail in the coffin for me. Just wasn't their year They've been spoiled af the last 15 years so they won't get any sympathy. No other program had a title or bust run like they did, ever. Others might claim it's title or bust every year, but they didn't realistically get to that level unless they won 3-4 titles in a 10-12 year span.

Lincoln Riley's offense this season wasn't very conducive for anyone being able to produce at a high level. From Zach to both QBs to everyone else.
