:dahell:

I think it started when Xander wasn't happy with a strike call. The ump thought he called a timeout, so when he finally does call one he gets a violation. What a weird call.

Yall are never going to learn that rookies almost always struggle at the major league level.

Last year it was Jordan Walker and Elly de la Cruz.
This time it's gonna be Wyatt Langford.

Next year y'all gonna be hyped over someone else.
Key word. We aren't gonna act like Acuna, Soto, Yordan, Ohtani, Judge and Julio Rodriguez didn't happen in the last seven years.

Tatis** too. :mjpls:

Rookies have something like an 80% or 90% struggle rate in the majors.
I'm always going to lean on the side that says these rookies will be bad or mediocre.

Mike Trout came up hitting .220.
Barry Bonds hit .223.
Alex Rodriguez hit .232.

I think I made my point though.

I should have bet one of those props to see who would hit the 1st HR of the 2024 MLB season.
Turns out it was Mookie Betts today.

Yamamoto spring training era was 8.38

He’s been getting rocked since he’s been here. Dodgers only gave up 5 runs in the 1st once last season
As someone who was happy teams didn't bend over backwards for Snell, it's gonna look really funny if/when Snell has a better season than Yamamoto.

The track record for Japanese pitchers just isn't there to warrant the crazy contract he got.

The first year usually turns out really good.

But once the adjustment is made, things get real.
