I love when players do things that is comfortable and works for them instead of following traditions.
And don't get me wrong. There is a science to hitting and pitching. But everyone does not have to do things the same way. I really hope Skubal takes his game up another level this year.

He's had a surprising downfall.
Kris Bryant's first few years in the majors, he looked like an MVP kind of hitter.
He's only 32 years old and he's washed.
I'll say this much: he's clearly not on PEDs.

There was a time that people seriously debated who was the better SS prospect between Javier Baez and Francisco Lindor.
Clearly Lindor has held up better over the years.
Anyway, looking at the 2016 championship Cubs team, they really did not age well.
Jorge Soler is the only guy who is still a notable, valuable player. Maybe Willson Contreras.
To be fair -- this was 8 years ago and 8 years is a long time in a sports career.
