Love it. I wish Detroit's bozo owner said the same about Javy Baez.

Montgomery and that dikkhead Eduardo Rodriguez were disaster signings for Arizona. They're why my belief is overspend for truly elite talent and pass on paying the average-to-above average guys.

I apologize for that.
It wasn't my intention to suggest Lindor wasn't a good player.

My issue was that I did not think Lindor was a Top 5 player to warrant that kind of contract.

As it turns out...he's played remarkably well.

Cody Bellinger has a 27.5M player option. Or a 2.5M buyout.

His WAR in 2024 was half of what it was in 2023 (2.2 vs 4.4)

I could see the power returning a little but it's a good thing for teams that they didn't give him a massive contract.

Anyway he better activate that player option ASAP.
