Vientos gets a fastball on the outer part of the plate. Very hittable. That should have been his pitch. It's a situational hitting scenario. You drive the ball the other way to get 2nd and 3rd with 1 out.

He got lucky that Hoffman threw a ball. And then Vientos hit the 1-2 pitch for a single (maybe a double. Not sure how they scored it)

Mets tied it. Super exciting.
But to me he put himself in a terrible hole before that lucky hit.

Ohtani is such a threat every time he's up.

I do think San Diego can win this series but in the end I think the Dodgers pull thru.

I would feel less confident about San Diego if it was a 7 game series. But SD almost stole Game 1 and this could be a very different series right now.
