Hurley went all in on him after he seen the Mingo process was gonna be long and drawn out
Yea I hope playing the long game for Mingo and Caleb **** don’t bite us in the ass. I wanted us to go after Landrew harder but it looks like we’re closing in on Qayden Samuels now. I think we still lead for Jaxon Richardson too. Hopefully the dominos fall our way once all the top guys start committing.

Braden Smith needs to average ~8.6 APG (including a B1GT run & deep NCAAT run) to break Bobby Hurley's all time NCAA assist record...

He averaged 8.7 APG last year, this is doable if they can get to the E8/FF or better

I might clown on Purdue, but Painter is a top 5 active coach, and he's turning 3* and low 4* players into all americans.

I never thought Purdue would be able to recruit well enough to be perennial contenders and they still technically aren’t but they are still contending

I guess the new landscape of CBB had helped them

Yea Painter does a good job of finding and developing guys that stay with the program all 4/5 years. They don’t get the kind of talent they probably could but culture matters. Their 3 best players are from Indiana.

Quality development, the don't lose guys in the portal but gain some. Paint is a great Xs & Os coach.

We'll see if their experience can get them a title this year bc it's essentially F4/natty or bust. If not they might need to figure out how to bring in some more dynamic players, even if it's just 1 every 2-3 recruiting cycles.

I know he’s gonna dog fukk us this time around with Denver Jones gone. We 40 balled them nikkas at one point, I know painter gonna run up the score if he can :francis:

Could be a 105-103 type of game tho
