I was one of the cats cool with sitting him but when you’re telling the staff you’re 95 percent…and you’re not playing until you’re 100 percent.

I gotta keep it a bean you should be playing at 95 percent. No hooper in D1 is 100 percent right now.
Yeah, I agree with this. If he wasn't feeling like himself I get it, but when players start putting these generic percentages on their health I believe it does nothing but muck up the expectations. He's basically saying I'm not my perfect self yet and I'm not going out until I'm perfect, even though I'm only a hair off. I think that might've been acceptable pre NIL, but now you getting broke off nicely to play, so I think it's fair to ask you to show up even if you less than perfect.

I don't understand the hype at all.
Yeah he's skilled but a lot of this ain't working against NBA athletes.
Just wanted to wait and see if others had the same opinion.
:manny:
Me and @Whips-n-Chains have both agreed and spoke on this too. I understand the hype, NBA pedigree, NBA body, and putting up great numbers as freshman. He's got 90's pf written all over him to me, the less explosive ones. He's a 15 year career guy as it stands that'll be steady for your franchise. He doesn't look that fluid, like NBA fluid. His game is tailor made to go crazy in college though.

Yea, he's not going to be some scrub, he'll have a solid career in the league, but idk about #1 overall pick b/c he's not going to be some franchise player or someone you build around. 3rd option, Michael Porter Jr. type of career, as a ceiling imo.

He's listed at 6'9 so he's probably more like 6'7.5...he doesn't really have the length, speed, athleticism, etc. to be a major difference maker as an NBA PF, but he has ball skills and will become a better shooter so he'll stick around.

He's going to absolutely FEAST in college tho. Probably NPOY

I've started to like him more b/c of his coast to coast and passing ability. Yesterday he was 3/9 from 3, would rather have him shoot 4-6 instead of 7+ attempts at his %
