One of those Marlins outfielders that kept making ridiculous plays against the Mets.

Anyways, maybe this makes the White Sox get more realistic about Robert since the Reds were the only team pursuing him aside from the Mets unless they decide to not trade him at all after all this.

This happening earlier adds to the case of them being out on Robert.

Artie Moreno bought the Angels in the Spring of 2003.

Zero championships.
Zero world series appearances.

He's spent money on players sporadically. LAA will sign 1 big name at a time and surround them with mediocre talent.
Aside from that, players say the organization is cheap. There was a story this season about how the franchise won't even fix the air conditioning.
Ironically a year after they won the title

What's taking so long to sign Tucker?
All the front offices are basically waiting it out because there aren't teams who clearly want to give him that big contract. Toronto is the only team that seems ready to do that but they're not gonna give him the contract he wants just to give it to him. The other suitors seem to be the Dodgers, Mets and Yankees in the distance from what I recall. Mets and Dodgers seem like they're only in play if the years go down more to the 4-7 range.

Hopefully Imai and Okamoto signing gets the trade market to move, but it's feeling like an offseason where the big free agents sign in February/March. I dont even think the WBC could move some people to engage with teams harder to get a deal done.
