Yeah they gotta eat that one. The trade rumors with Cabrera and Peralta had more legs, still nothing came of it. Add to all this Elias said back in November they would be in the market for a front of rotation arm. Like that was item one on their agenda. And they come back with Shane Baz and Chris Bassit
I'll save my judgment for Baz since he's young and under control. Though for less time than Grayson Rodriguez who they gave up for Ward.

O's seem like they are better than last year and they still got some young guys with more ceiling. I like them as a fringe playoff team but yeah with the new owners you want to see them try and make them a legit contender.

I wonder what the intricacies would be to something like this. Because at the end of the day.. after taxes, we all know that 100 million in San Francisco and LA/New York is a lot different than 100 million in Houston, or Miami.
I’d assume there has to be stipulations.
