Remember when the Braves had both Upton brothers and Heyward in the outfield?
:banderas:
All I know is if I was still living in the DMV in that time. I would have sure as shyt hated playing his Travel team. I was a couple years older than BJ but we probably would have crossed at least one season outside of potential High School tournaments. His travel squad had Him, David Wright, Ryan Zimmerman and Mark Reynolds they ALL made it to the show.

:damn:

The best black pitcher of the 90s was Pedro Martinez.

But see? You clowns on here talk that “me no black papi” bullshyt but yall don’t even consider Pedro black.

Right?
:troll:

Now if you meant African American, that answer is probably still Doc Gooden, maybe Tom Gordon or Dave Stewart. Though African American pitchers weren’t plentiful in the 90s. The best talent was probably in other sports.
yeah it was easily Pedro.

Dave Stewart man he's one of those guys where you just had to watch him pitch. Cause if you just look at the stats you'd wave him off. But dude could deal.

Relief Pitching is where seemingly the black pitchers cooked in the late 80s/90s. Lee Smith, Tom Gordon, LaTroy Hawkins at the front. Obviously one of my favorites was Arthur Rhodes.
