Rankings are a way for tv to market games to the casuals. Those aren’t going to be delayed. Doesn’t matter if the rankings are wrong. They’re a marketing tool. It’s business

Its never realistic until you actually do it. These teams are branded. OSU, Bama, Mich, Ga..on down the line gonna get eyes regardless.. we know who the top brands are... Bama vs OSU or Texas gonna get eyes in the game regardless if a number beside them. The marketing is who gonna be number 1-10 after week 5 with an unveil show..I dont see what's so hard about that

Orrrrrr….we can go back to 10 team, regionally based conferences. What’s the point of mega conferences when 6-8 of these teams won’t play each other for a couple of yrs waiting on a rotation? It’s stupid. And with costs ballooning (see the above link I just posted), makes zero sense to be in a conference where you have to cross multiple time zones just to play. This will also make it a true tournament of champs. You not good enough to win your conference, you don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. One opportunity. No round twos
