I don’t know why. It’s true.

The big 10 is top heavy. Their good programs are really good. You can never take that from them, but most of the conference is complete shyt.

So the SEC? Forget which pod it was but they had this graphic that showed the top shelf teams in the SEC beat everyone. Mid tier teams lost to top shelf, beat up on each other and beat lower tier teams. Lower tier teams were there to take the L’s and collect the checks. The point that stood out the most is that it’s no different than every conference. The SEC just has a couple more top shelf teams than everyone else and even that’s dependent on the season.

Finally a smart big 10 fan

I went to a B1G school, but I'm also a fan of CFB regardless of how good or bad my team is. This means I've always enjoyed SEC football, I like how all y'all are random rivals with each other, and generally speaking ,the match-ups are better week to week, and/or more entertaining.

B1G is top heavy, and always has been especially lately when Michigan is rebuilding, teams like Washington are getting up to speed, PSU is being overhauled, USC hasn't reached playoff-tier yet, then the "middle class" teams like MSU and Wisconsin have been awful for the last 4-5 years. And Iowa is still Iowa, 8-9 wins every single year.

I do think the best team in the country resides in the B1G this year and clearly has the last 2 years. Plus, we'll see what IU is all about tomorrow.

Matt Campbell is going to do really good at Penn St.

He's been a candidate for jobs a while now. I think it's a great fit for him.

And no one is acting like IU is "elite" but barring an act of God or another 59-0 type of affair, there's no way with just 1 loss to the #1 team are they being bounced all the way down to the point where they miss the playoffs. It's not reality but of course, that conferences loves....

It's literally impossible for IU to miss the playoffs even if they lose 80-0

You know this dude gotta be happy. He passed up jobs when he was considered hot, and cooled off years ago. It was looking bleak that he would get this type of opportunity. Was anyone checking for this dude?

Hard-nosed defensive philosophy, a TE heavy offensive philosophy and running the ball. But still has QBs that make key plays

Ehhhh...pretty underwhelming hire after all this. Could've hired Campbell 6 weeks ago if he was truly a top 3 or 4 option.

Yea he'll have more resources but he'll be playing tougher teams with a full rebuild. With that said, PSU schedule is very light next year.

@ Michigan is an auto-loss, they never beat michigan
@ Washington 85% loss, cross country, UW should be good
USC at home, likely loss, but SC plays like dog shyt on the road, might be a night game too

They manage to go 1-2 in those 3 big games and the rest of their schedule is a joke
