Its really not..Dante back up in the portal. He would be the starter, but he can't wait around for Dante no longer.. Akili Smith jr is 2027. He would be a Redshirt Soph.
Dante cant read the whole field which is killing us. Im not seeing a number 1 pick in him yet. But if he is evaluated as a 1, he needs to go. I think his QB coach who has now been promoted to the OC is failing him. I wouldnt put another year in his hands. Bo Nix and Dillon had seen any possible defense you could throw at them. You wasn't going to fool them at the line like you can with Dante.
