But in all seriousness what did beck see in that moment, like the corner just kept running with him, and the safety was over the top

In all seriousness, Beck just ain't it, and never was it. That UM defense was insane, Fletcher is a dog, and Toney is a top 2 WR in CFB...they carried this team. Beck is just who he is, mid at best, TO prone, thick-skulled

On top of that IU makes almost ZERO mistakes. They execute at an extreme level. The best coaching job I've ever witnessed at any level of athletics across all sports.
I know you won't agree but they really...really remind me of 2023 Michigan, but u of m had better ball hawks. Cignetti 2205 > Harbaugh 2023 tho

We overachieved but when you get that close you have to capitalize because the chances are never guaranteed and now with playoffs it is a fukking guantlet, On road 100k, Go against #2 seed, then Hottest QB, then #1 seed.

The defense was different this year and for some reason didnt get respect they deserved all season. Even going into playoffs telling people our Dline is a fukking problem, their first comment was always Oh Bain only has 4 sacks, Who is Mesidor he only has 7 sacks.. We have a DE who has more combined (Both Texas AM and OSU said this).. It like ok.. EVERY team we played we gave worst pass rush grade or next to worst. Defense had straight crashouts and was fun to watch, I remember when they went super saiyan mid season

Coming out of High school, Bain had back to back I think 30 sack seasons and they didnt want to make him a 5 star because of measureables. Now he dominate cfb and they saying same thing in draft. Players like that are irreplaceable, dude dominated games on both run and pass, complete DE. Maybe a inch short or a couple inch arm length is crazy to me.

Also happy to see Fletcher get love.. His value was always gonna be higher in playoffs, another player people look at stats and say oh he didnt have 1k yards, he not that good.. And its like he missed a couple games and played nicked in a couple others. Remember before season, we did everything to fill that slot role of Restrepo, Concepcion turned it down, Singleton and Branch did also after visits. Then Malachi comes in year early and telling ND fans like yea Restrepo gone but we got this kid, and they just like oh he wont do anything.. Kid Balled out all year, in his high school senior year. Insane.

Losing the oline that blocked for Cam and Beck.. Will see how they rebuild before commenting. We need better skill guys but when the trenches are right its a different ball game. Something I think alot of teams overlooked.

It's not a bad comp. Y'all had a better defense, potentially the best defense of the CFP era. Mendoza>JJ, but I get the comp b/c they both made plays when it counted with the game on the line (big 3rd & 4th downs).

Also Salute to Indiana, not sure we got any actual fans on here, maybe supported their bball programs or something.. Older team who used the benfit of portal to ride to championship. Cignetti would always come down here and grab guys at jmu, would see guys always have that on their list. To lose to Miami guys like Mendoza, Ponds and Sharpe is crazy too. Their Oline was best we played all season. When our dline was on, most couldnt handle they did best job overall..

Straight battle in trenches.

OSU seemed like the most talented team.. I dont know what they gonna do with their Offense direction, they play against their talent. They should be running everyone off the field. Get better trenches and skill guys are there.

:picard:

Might be one of the least anticipated title games since Georgia / TCU. 2 hours before kickoff and not even an official thread.

:francis:

National Title games lose their luster to me if one of the teams didn’t win their conference; let alone play in the conference title game

Nah it’s the Coli they only care about blueblood(Death Star programs or whatever they like to call it) on here they feel like all the best players should go to the same school and those school are the only ones with championship expectations
