What conference would have them certainly not a big one, and they’d have to pay a massive fee just to jump up, and now they gotta get money to convince kids to come to ND/SD respectively, and they certainly never winning a National championship in fbs so what’s the point for them

There's enough bullshyt west coast and western state schools floating around to make some kinda California Pizza Kitchen Conference. As long as they don't get an automatic playoff bid, no one will care.

B1G x SEC D1+ with their own playoff rules and their own NIL rules will come in 10-12 years. Then you'll have some random formation of other conferences that will have zero NIL regulations (like current day) to lure recruits to those schools, etc.

Will be interesting, but at the end of the day, CFB has always been a cycle of blue bloods winning titles and then the next two tiers with dominant runs.

I'm assuming join/form a conference for the strength in #'s value. They can get a tv deal with a western US channel or cable provider or something. Idk maybe Sac State can go indy?

Not really buying this whole Sac State being some player in CFB now, anyway.
