You saying Day can afford to lose to Michigan two more times in a row? :usure:

And I disagree on Venables. He’s still learning but we’ve seen TRASH ass coaches we knew wasn’t fit for the role. Clay Helton, Brady Hoke, Al Golden :scust:, etc.
Brady replaced an even worse coach, he got lucky by getting to face OSU's worst team in 40 years during his first year, then making the sugar bowl the second. It appeared he was on the right trajectory, but he was def a lousy coach.

A national title is worth losing to your rivals, yes. It sucks that you have that stain, but it's still the goal. Day's bought himself some time, and I think he's been reinvigorated with some juice after that pathetic display in back in november. He could probably go 7-6 this year with a loss to michigan and not get fired after winning a title.

@smitty22 @Trav told me no one cares about that game anymore, it's a glorified scrimmage before the 12 team playoff. It's funny b/c michigan fans used to say this game meant more to osu fans, and now it's osu fans saying nah we have bigger fish to fry, this ya'll SB.

Any other rivalry and I might agree with you.

Both are your rivals so I’ll ask you. Which title you feel means more: 2023 Michigan or 2024 Ohio State?

Arguments can be made for either. OSU's may have been more difficult, playing all the top 5 teams to get theirs. Since OSU had won 2 titles already in the last 20 years, so it was more important for michigan to win one in the non-poll era. They went undefeated too which obviously is the preferred way to win a title. IMO a title is more rare for michigan than it is for OSU. OSU already won some, and lost 3 others so they were used to getting to that level. It was extremely important for michgan to prove they can get over the OSU hump, then the SEC hump and win it all.

So I guess it means more for michigan (not meant to sound condescending).

lol bruh a title is a title...what do you mean by "means more?"

To mean they are basically equal, osu won a difficult route, michigan went undefeated.

I'm gettin tired of people talkin bout how much more difficult osu's run was than Michigan's.

- Michigan beat the #2 team in the country (at that time) at THEIR place, in osu.
- Michigan beat a solid squad in #16 ranked Iowa for the B1G chip. (the same chip game that osu could've been in if they aint had to hold that L)
- Michigan then beat #4 Alabama in the semis.
- Michigan then beat #2 Washington in the chip. The same Washington that no one could figure out all year long, and handed them their only loss.

OSU's run was:

- Two losses in the regular season.. one to an eventual 8-5 Michigan team.
- They beat a 3 loss #9 ranked Tennessee team that everyone on the Coli knew was fugazi.
- Had a damn impressive win vs #1 Oregon (must be nice to be able to get get backs on the team that already beat you earlier in the season)
- Beat a pretty good team in #5 ranked Texas.
- The beat an overrated bum ass SEVENTH RANKED Notre Dame for the **chip**

I'll give the nod to their run.. but dudes on here talkin like it wasn't even a conversation to be had are delulu.

It's haram to drink  what you need me to clarify?

I'm not trying to shyt on y'all title or theirs. The preferred way is undefeated, but if that can't happen, a title is still a title. Is florida mad about not winning the SEC in hoops this year? Nah they don't give a fukk.
