Ryan Day is a better coach than Mack Brown...having him in the Brian Kelly tier is an insult

Harbaugh is better than Stoops...Stoops always had consistent teams but lot of underachievement and Stoops' best years were when Texas was down

James Franklin still doesn't impress me...wake me up when they win a game they're not favored in

Kyle Wittingham should be lower than coaches that have been to the playoffs

They kinda dogged tf out of Chip Kelly...but the later half of his career has been mid af

Les Miles won a title and played in another...he flamed out but I'll take him over Gary Patterson and Frank Beamer

Chris Peterson is not a top 10 coach of the last 25 years especially over guys that've won titles.

Lincoln Riley probably too high...but he has the playoff appearances

Brian Kelly rebuilt a Notre Dame program that was COMPLETE trash and birthed Lester Freeman on third base just like Urban did for Day.

Brian Kelly ain’t shyt as a person but he’s won BIG in D2, Cincinatti, and at Notre Dame

I agree but Franklin can check off the "won a playoff game" marker, even if it was after finally getting in at 10-2 in typical PSU fashion.

There are coaches on the list that with PSU's resources and talent would potentially win a title, while Franklin still can't get over the OSU hump. I'll take Mark Dantonio in a big game 10 times out of 10 over Franklin. Dantonio always fought up a weight class while Franklin cannot seem to do so.

Also, Dantonio was 4-2 vs. Franklin...so there's that good ole head to head to confirm.
