Made it easier in 24' & increased the spots to 12 & y'all couldn't even make an appearance in a yr where Indiana, SMU, & Boise came thru.

02'/24' - Honestly can't choose fr. Give it sum time & it may be 14' down here with 02' and 24' up top tbh. I loved watching Dem break Miami tho. And watchin' Doss, Gamble, Mo, and they was heavy on da trenches on both ends.

Like you with usc. I'm not from ohio. Born in Hawaii but raised in Hayward and Union City Cali (bay area). I become a buckeye when I was in pop Warner football. My coach was from Dayton ohio and our uniforms were exact replicas of ohio state. I didnt start following ohio state until 1996-1997 season. When we beat Jake plummer and the sundevils in the rose bowl - I was baptized a buckeye.
Yeah I saw and deal lt with all dat bullshyt with scUM the following years with the original ryan day - john Cooper. fukk i hate those motherfukkers. Man, 2002 was magical. And it was also the first ncaa game I copped on the ps2 with joey Harrington on the cover.
I knew we had a squad and thought we could with the big 10. But had no inkling of national championship contention. Especially with miami and what they did the years prior skraight dominating.

Tbh, I'm grateful we didn't play iowa cuz brad banks and dem dudes were probably the hottest big 10 team going into the bowl games (but yall ended up stomping em out in the orange bowl with cpalmer and polamalu).I had 25% confidence we could beat miami in the chip. Oh that game was perfect culmination of that season. So many back and forth. And we went double ot. Yes, cane fans will argue about the pi call. But you still had to finish it out and they didn't want it as bad as we did. I was still in high school. I cried dude. Tears of joy! Words cannot explain how much that season and team meant to me. Truly magical.
