We’re def gonna end up retaining Hugh bc all the other programs with bread got a leg up on talking to their guy. Meanwhile this pervert and his booster buddies got a leg up in some poor stripper who ain’t getting paid enough for those flabby c*nts :snoop:

We really about to be ass for a decade :mjcry:
Our boosters always late to the party. They gone give him another year and we’ll still be struggling to get to .500.

LA’s governor having deciding power in the university is insane. Kay Ivey is on our board so I guess she kinda does here anyway, but thats nuts.
Realistically is the talent, and facilities, and resources in Louisiana to perennially because Top 10 team?

Yeah, but you're LSU, you don't gotta cave to a mf like B. Kelly who ain't never did shyt but get slapped up when it counts.

Or, you're MSU, you don't have to give J. Smith and above avg buyout or obscene contract length wise when plenty of people would line up to take the position.

Look at y'all. Even the Blue Collar worker didn't get a too crazy contract. Now, part of that may be to lacking the complexion for protection, but that's a different can of worms.

What had Franklin don't coming from Vandy to warrant such a high buyout with PSU? :dahell:

Riley with a $90 mil buyout & a 10 yr deal at USC like they wouldn't have their pick of the litter with quality coaches to interview.

Why are we pissing money away like this when, in theory, the school should have more leverage on these dudes lol.

Thats the thing, the schools don’t have leverage if they want a “proven commodity”. LSU can EASILY pull some FCS hot shot or a coordinator from some other large program but they don’t want that. They don’t want to hire Cignetti from James Madison, they want the Cignetti from Indiana.

So if you are going to pull a coach from a comfortable situation you have to make “an offer they can’t refuse”. LSU didn’t hire Brian Kelly from Central Michigan, they hired him from ND, so they had to pay.

And they aren’t just bidding against themselves, they are bidding against the field. The field has disposable income they can use for coaches as well.
