Chizik won a championship and he was trying to change the offense, he gets a pass. He could see the fad that was the hurry up no huddle offense, he just didn't pick the right offensive coordinator.
Defensive coaches get a little bit of a pass because that's not their side of the ball.
Offensive gurus have a shelf life. It only takes a few years before defenses catch up to their offense. Hugh Freeze's style has been cooked since he left Ole Miss. Can't pick a quarterback, and can't coach them up.
Reminds me of Chip Kelly… the game passed these guys by and they can’t adjust

Don't get me wrong, it's cool these teams got on a run, but people were talking about how "NIL has changed the game and you can win national titles at Vandy now etc"

NC State beat UVA too, but that wasn't counted as an in-conference game even though they're both in the ACCSMH at Tech losing to these off brand Wolfpack nikkaz
