I see people say this and I guess its a real testament to what Kiffin has built there in recent years.. Ole Miss was a perennial sec west bottom feeder and a good season was 8-9 wins.

Kiffin has Ole Miss doing shyt they NEVER done at Ole Miss, of course compared to LSU, Ole Miss has a ceiling. He probably thinking he has a natural recruiting base in his back yard who grew up wanting to play for home town school. He walks out and he has Jamar Chase, Justin Jefferson, Malik Nabers lined up ready to play for him. Ideally its just easier to get better talent on both sides of ball. The name of game is talent. He brings the coaching but its elite talent.

Go look at Ole Miss win loss record thru years, even last 20 years prior to Kiffin. The only reason people now have a positive perception of Ole Miss is BECAUSE of Kiffin. They didnt have the sustained 10+ win success prior to him getting there.

Homerism aside, I wonder if UMich might be on upset alert. Have to think they're looking ahead to The Game and may not take UMd. seriously.

Terps almost always play UMich tough, it's their last home game of the season, and you figure they may have some extra energy now that it's official that Lox, who's beloved by the players and administration (if not the fan base, apparently), is returning.
