This whole "we should just schedule cupcake out-of-conference opponents because we get penalized for losing against tough ones" narrative because Texas might be left out of the playoff is one of the dumbest and most crybaby ass ideas I've ever heard. And there's a LOT of crybaby ass narratives in this sport right now.
Because if you win the tough out-of-conference games that will give you a boost in the polls when the final rankings are made, pending you don't shyt the bed during the rest of the season. Even then, you'd be given more leeway. High rewards come from higher risks, but some of these MFs in the media are acting like you shouldn't be penalized for losing. That's never been the case.
I can't believe we still have this much whining after they expanded the playoff to 12 teams, but here we are

To be fair, y'all lost your entire coaching staff. Without Moore being some hidden Cignetti type of coach (don't forget Cig brought over his staff & players from JMU), he was going to need time to get up & running. UGA did the 9-10 win thing for a long time before they figured it out, Richt was there for 14 years...Bama went 9-4 last year and might miss the playoffs this season if they can't beat UGA twice.
I agree that excellence should be demanded, but your situation is a bit more unique due to the complete overhaul that occurred. If this was year 4 for Moore and Bryce was a senior, I'd say g'head and demand heads roll. Next year will be big for y'all.
What you don't want is to rush Moore out before he can really do his thing and have to deal with a PSU like situation, and I know y'all think ahhh nah that couldn't be us, but remember the time when y'all went after les miles and had to settle for hoke, or when Lanning said no thanks to bama, or Dan Hurley said no to UK basketball... It can happen everywhere.

NOBODY is holding the OSU loss against texas, this dude is drunk AF.. How about he talk about the conference loss to 4 win UF, wtf.. They was on the ropes to UK, Miss St.. He know what he doing by avoiding the obvious loss RIGHT THERE.. And UF SMACKED them around, they couldnt even keep their QB clean.. I saw a true freshman in his FIRST game straight style on the whole DB squad, had them boys coming back for seconds to get on highlight
