This whole "we should just schedule cupcake out-of-conference opponents because we get penalized for losing against tough ones" narrative because Texas might be left out of the playoff is one of the dumbest and most crybaby ass ideas I've ever heard. And there's a LOT of crybaby ass narratives in this sport right now.



Because if you win the tough out-of-conference games that will give you a boost in the polls when the final rankings are made, pending you don't shyt the bed during the rest of the season. Even then, you'd be given more leeway. High rewards come from higher risks, but some of these MFs in the media are acting like you shouldn't be penalized for losing. That's never been the case.





I can't believe we still have this much whining after they expanded the playoff to 12 teams, but here we are

Like it’s ok to demand striving for better, but it’s a fine line, y’all watched multiple iterations of harbaughs staff and players give us some head scratching loses, underwhelming offense and inevitably the boogie man at the end of the hall that would knock our head in, speed in space all that, and still 2-3 losses,

All I’m saying is give the nikka a chance, cuz you know these white boys aint, nikkas choked down 3-9 5-7, and 7-5 now nikkas too good for 8 and 9 win seasons, and you can say easy schedule, but ain’t shyt promised but death, so when you win you win and give credit.

Like whips saying below i could see if the nikka came into a stocked bar like Jim did or hoke did but nope, instead of having Dante Moore, thanks to Jim bullshytting and dancing with the nfl we was left with Joe Milton part deaux a cancer survivor and a future Hilton night manager in the qb room, then follow it up with bringing along a true freshman qb and several other freshman, most coaches can’t win with junior/senior talent and he’s doing it with freshman, unacceptable is 8-5 and you have a hiesman winning qb, why don’t y’all give the man a chance to grow it’s not like we are some 11 win program back to back, you also want that leap, well nikkas better start cutting checks, see everyone got shyt to say but no one putting money up (not you Ed more so the twitter nikkas)

To be fair, y'all lost your entire coaching staff. Without Moore being some hidden Cignetti type of coach (don't forget Cig brought over his staff & players from JMU), he was going to need time to get up & running. UGA did the 9-10 win thing for a long time before they figured it out, Richt was there for 14 years...Bama went 9-4 last year and might miss the playoffs this season if they can't beat UGA twice.

I agree that excellence should be demanded, but your situation is a bit more unique due to the complete overhaul that occurred. If this was year 4 for Moore and Bryce was a senior, I'd say g'head and demand heads roll. Next year will be big for y'all.

What you don't want is to rush Moore out before he can really do his thing and have to deal with a PSU like situation, and I know y'all think ahhh nah that couldn't be us, but remember the time when y'all went after les miles and had to settle for hoke, or when Lanning said no thanks to bama, or Dan Hurley said no to UK basketball... It can happen everywhere.

It’s a lot of schools that jumped they ass in the new coach sweepstakes and out here settling, so what does that mean, paying 20 or so mill for a coach to go away while paying another 40 to be disappointed in a new way to pay him 40 to go away to pay a new disappointing coach to come (see Auburn, see Florida, see soon LSU) plus it’s not really anyone out there that you’d be willing to bet your life on to come here

Im probably in the minority, but they should get rid of Ooc games completely, or maybe do 1 and thats it. One nonconference rivalry game. Anything beyond that is unnecessary. Squash matches against G5/fcs teams have become outdated imo.

It made sense back in the day when conferences were smaller, but nowadays with damn near 20 teams in a conference, there’s no need for multiple none conference games. There’s plenty of interesting games to make in your own conference.
