Yea, no. There's a reason we got rid of it. The current situation, while not perfect is much better than what we had before. It's also much more inline with other divisions of football, other leagues of football, and other sports. The BCS was an outlier that needed to die.2 teams
The way CFB is looking, it’s looking like bowl games might be obsolete with all these opt outs. Even some 5 win teams opted out if they were chosen to participateNo one should be playing if it isn’t the playoffs tbh. You lose $$$ going to bowls that aren’t NY6
Teams opting out of bowls makes no sense. It’s a chance to end season on a high note and put play on filmThe way CFB is looking, it’s looking like bowl games might be obsolete with all these opt outs. Even some 5 win teams opted out if they were chosen to participate
So there are year in and year out 12 (soon to be 16) teams who have the ability of winning it all?Yea, no. There's a reason we got rid of it. Fans hardly even go to these bowl games. Also it’s the players that’s opting out of some of these games. Iowa states players are the ones who chose not to playTeams opting out of bowls makes no sense. It’s a chance to end season on a high note and put play on film
Opting out is ato your fans too
Looking at the current top 10? Yes. Also with the NIL spreading talent to multiple teams that only increases the odds of other teams winning it all.So there are year in and year out 12 (soon to be 16) teams who have the ability of winning it all?
Bowls are dying. I've been of the mindset that they need to go the way of the Dodo.Teams opting out of bowls makes no sense. It’s a chance to end season on a high note and put play on film

Agreed. Tamu fell hard too for one loss but their schedule probably held them back..Alabama should not have gotten in ahead of notre dame. Georgia shouldve been #2 seed.
You're confusing parity with probability. You jump from “things look more spread out” to “more teams are likelier to win,” which doesn’t logically follow.Looking at the current top 10? Yes.
