Yeah. His mic skills have gotten better though but he was always A+ in the ring.

He looks real comfortable on the mic. Especially as a heel.
AJ doesn't need them. They are incredibly corny on the mic and don't look intimidating at all despite being a foot taller than their opponents.
I think it's being seen as an afterthought because we're used to wrestlers talking for 20 mins a week to sell their matches. I always hated that, I think separating them for a while and having together oppose each other in small doses is actually a good idea
