Idk brehs…yes the NFF has goofed but in the case of DRC and Morocco you simply have to make your kicks. Stop with the panekas and hesitations, just put your foot through it.

AFCON 2027 we really have to look to win it. If Morocco wins on Sunday then it confirms that hosting AFCON is a +1. Kenya, UG and TZ aren’t big enough like a Morocco or CIV to get big home crowd sway.

This crop of players is too talented not to have something to show…

I respectfully disagree.
Although you can't simulate the pressure of a penalty shootout. You can prepare to mitigate the risks and better position the win of the shootout.

Our coaches need to be able to identify players who are reliable penalty takers. Players who are confident, calm, ice-cold, and consistent. Where they can pick a corner, and hit that spot they chose.

Congo replaced their GK before the Penalty shootout.
Osimhen and Lookman not attempting a shot.
We don't have a strategy.
Zero analytics/data science.

The NFF goofed again....I'm always going to bring it back to the system and lack of governance, structure, and strategy. It's not shocking the execution is poor.

It’s both you gotta make your kicks, you gotta play better, Chelle needed to manage better, yes the NFF is a problem, we say it over and over.

Ultimately Ghana, COV, DRC and yesterday we were in the position despite all the overarching fukkry and we came short each time, there has to be some responsibility and accountability from the players but of course they are not setup to succeed in any way.

Is anything going to change? I doubt it and it’s frustrating because just bare minimum competence would change things so much, instead we just relying on talent :francis:

All very true but man…it’s 12 yards out. Pick a corner and put your foot through it, don’t be cute.

But yes, doesn’t seem we have the proper structure in place to succeed.
