Yea the Quran has no chronological structure or narrative which makes it not really fun or interesting for non Muslims.

If you know what the Quran really was and how it came to be historically it would make more sense

But reading Paul’s letters is a breath of fresh air in comparison

however, I still maintain people are afraid of Paul and his letters because either they are not intelligent enough to understand his complex theology or they just look at him as a villain or threat to their worldview

@2 Up 2 Down I see you avoiding the content shared in this thread like the plague :mjlol:

Interesting. I’d be curious to know if there’s a parallel Arabic expression to אֵין מֻקְדָּם וּמְאֹחָר בַּתּוֹרָה (lit. there is no ‘early’ and ‘late’ in the Tοrah) that is quoted frequently by Rash"i but which has its origins in the words of our Sages of antiquity, and just means that the Tοrah narrative is not necessarily recorded in strict, chronological sequence.

You know what I mean. The Bible tells a story of many stories each with a shared lesson and the narrative portion follows a group of people and individuals all who contribute to an overarching theme

It was written that way for a reason, just ask @MMS

I’m not sure if you’ve read the Quran or what your opinion on what it is, it’s origins and purpose at the time it was written and compiled

But you should look into it, because Jewish people were involved and it’s part of Jewish history
