The hard landing of Superman seemed unnecessary but the CGI was top notch to me. That's what this movie has going for it the most the production value seems like super duper top notch like block busters movies should be.

In this part it's a pissed off God coming to a place to find a man he thinks is trouble.

He's not doing any soft landings.

I've seen the full trailer the movie looks cool. Humanity turning their back on superman cause they don't like his powers. While Batman side of the story hasn't really been revealed yet.
