Sure, it's alright to be crazy hyped over 3 minutes of footage but it's unthinkable that people can be disappointed by it.

Donner captured the awe-inspiring presence that is Superman perfectly. Reeves wasn't a ultra-cut, muscular beast. He was fit, tall, and had a good frame to match his charisma and charm. I guess it was easy for both.

Cavil has a lot of that, but he's not being allowed to lead any of his scenes when it's his turn to act. The shaky-cam aspect does nothing to help that, and let's not forget he's going against his natural accent for the role. He was straight gold in Man From UNCLE, and it's a shame MOS didn't find a way to capture his strengths.

Nothing in his character development resembled any pettiness and yet that happened
