Recent comic book movies have all released extended editions, it's easy money to get extra sales. If they were afraid of the movie tanking, wouldn't they have released this info after it bombs to wash the stink off the theatrical release?

It said Rated R for "sequences of violence" not anything to do with language. Maybe Batman fukks up some goons real bad or we see the aftermath of the Kryptonian attack, etc.
