WB would be hustling backwards to let Marvel complete phase 3 without them making a major splash in the game. that major splash was supposed to be BvS. it was a splash they may end up being content with financially (doubtful) but definitely not critically.

How are they allowing them when they're 2 movies in? That's like Sony dropping the PS4 in 2008, Microsoft dropping the Xbox One 2014 and you asking why the Xbox is losing out to the PS4. If MOS and Iron Man both came out in 2008 then I would agree

they have more recognizable properties, everyone realizes the train isnt going to stop.

and i didnt say they were allowing them to go unabated, i said the goal is to prevent that hence BvS while simultaneously trying to introduce the JL in the same movie.

the goal is to put out the hottest shyt possible as quickly as possible, to slow marvels momentum and prevent further domination of the market which is why we werent watching MOS2, aquaman, or wonderwoman. they are trying to make up for lost time and the product suffered because of that

I liked Iron Man 2 when it came out so I can't give you an answer. Only Marvel movie I didnt like was Iron Man 3 (AoU is borderline)

But did Marvel reveal their plan back then? I dont remember

Avengers was planned since Ironman 1 and Tony had a cameo in Hulk before Ironman 2 came out so people knew a universe was being built.

For the record I liked all 3 Ironman movies and it doesn't bother me that some people didn't because it's not gonna stop me from eating. If the people who liked BvS would just accept not everyone loved it and keep enjoying what they're getting things would be simpler.

he won't. That's what's pissing me off. Supes' characterization in this flick was supposed to make up for Man of Steel's and it didn't. In MOS they said "he's not superman yet, he was growing, we'll see in BvS." now BvS has the same shyt and they're like "he isn't who he's supposed to be, wait till Justice League"

Justice League will have the same bullshyt and they'll be like "Wait for Justice League Part II"

Justice League Part II will be fukkery and they'll say "Wait for the solo movie"

Let's be completely honest here.............Marvel is just soo much better than DC in every aspect.

Outside of Black Panther and Captain America and maybe a couple of others, that statement is wrong as hell.

If characters do stupid things people aren't going to like it. And they aren't going to chalk it up to 'finding themselves'.

I chalked it up to that with Man Of Steel because a lot of these same excuses were getting made about that movie....So I gave the flaws in that a pass saying "Maybe folks are right,maybe he is still finding himself?"...How many movies are we supposed to give the benefit of the doubt?Especially when theres another large group of fans who make the point "This isn't the same Superman your used to,its a new take,get over it".....So which is it?is it a new take and we should accept him for who he is,or should we be patient and wait for this big payoff of Supermans "growth"...After sacrificing himself for a world who treated him like a criminal and turned him over to random aliens in the first movie,shouldnt the growth have been complete?

This seems like regression somewhat?SUperman like "fukk this shyt".....Showing up to scenes where people in trouble with the "" face....But of course he sacrifices himself at the end of Bvs too....So should we expect a moody Superman throughout these movies?,some days he don't feel like helping people off they rooftops,next minute he's ready to die for the world?
