After watching the first 30 or.so.mins. The part in the village makes more sense now.
Holy shyt! The branding makes so much more sense now. The prison scene added some context to it 
Yooo wtf. Why did they cut some of this shyt. It literally makes lex luthor like an evil genius.
And makes Clark's motivation way more palpable.

Bruh smh Zack took a bullet for them on this one
This one flows much better. In the TC, you didn't see lex pulling as many strings and you didn't really see why superman was even blamed for the village shyt.
You don't really get a sense for why supes wants to fight Batman either, until lex forces him.
I didn't realize 30 minutes would add up like that but it really has. A few 1-2 minute scenes and all of a sudden stuff adds up better now.
