Heres the settings I use...they come from a dude who professionally calibrated our TV. I bumped the Brightness and the Color up to 35 and 55 so I put them in parenthesis, but you can adjust them to whatever you want obviously....

In hardcore, they need a little bit more tweaking though:

I know they don't want to overpower snipers but the flare should be a useful tool in spotting brehs.

Maybe if the flare goes out and brehs actually press the spot button, it'll enemies in the effective flare range would show up on teammates' HUD who are within a 45 m range. That would be cool.

Tank HP should be lower in Hardcore, possibly.

I use the same settings in HDR.....but BF1 doesn't have HDR yet so that mode doesn't even come on.
