Play the single player first it does a semi good job of getting you familiar with BF1 game mechanics

Jump right into it after you get the button mapping down tbh. Do smaller games first like Domination then go Conquest. Single player is cool to help you get the buttons and movement etc...but it won't help you as far as that real human v human multiplayer experience. MP is way faster paced.
