New to BF and just picked this up... The game is incredible but I completely suck. I've turned up my brightness which has made it easier to spot enemies but my K/D and overall score at the end of games is just
I typically play as a medic but have more of a run and gun style. Any practical tips for a first time BF player to step up his game brehs?
I would run with medic to start. The weapons are the easiest to control and m1907 sl sweeper would probably be my first purchase.
If you run assault the first gun you get is pretty good (mp 18 trench). the a-10 hunter shotgun is probably the best in the game if you want to unlock one of those.
Scout.. the Lawrence of arabia rifle is good but it has no scope. The russian sniper1895 sniper is what i use for a scoped weapon in this class.
support, i don't really have a favorite but they aren't bad weapons. Whatever you use if there is a lot of recoil you're gonna need to counter it by pressing down slightly on the aiming joystick. it'll take some time to get used too but it helps a lot.
If your aim is all over the place it'll come with time or you can adjust the sensitivity. My aim got a lot better when I turned auto aim off in BF4. Same for my brother. It got worse before it got better but since you're starting out it shouldn't matter that much.
if you want to score points and get xp the fastest way to do it is play the objectives and play as your class suggests you should. If you're a medic, revive, heal. Support, resupply. Assault... kill. Recon.. DON'T.. or do but be worthless to the team.
Don't worry about K/D. It does't matter. The game will be out a long time and once you unlock all the things you want you should be able to get your k/d back where it needs to be if you're any good.
