That dude is horrible. He only like fighters that come forward. Unless they match the HBO agenda. If they with HBO then "boxing" is something beautiful to see.

His daughter is a horrible judge to.

most of the time this is true. he also likes the guy that "appears" to be landing the harder shots. so activity, defense, and ring generalship usually take a back seat to that. a guy can be coming forward and hitting nothing but air and he will act like he is murdering the opponent. :manny:

i remember watching this and was like six heads got lucky as fukk that night but not so lucky in the rematch though :russ:

Six Heads wasnt really a dedicated fighter. He couldve been better than what he was. For a guy with his speed and athleticism, he stood straight up and never moved his head. Thats why he would get KTFO. Speaking of that, remember when he was easily beating this dude in Guyana on points and he quit and took a TKO loss when he had to go take a shyt in the middle of the fight?

Straight up. I have been wanting HBO to verhaul their announce teams for years. When Merchant finally retired they should have taken that opportunity to 'deavour Lampley and get some new blood in there. I would have kept Max and that's it.

Lampley is fukking horrible. And get letterman the fukk outta here too

That's y he's a Pacman dikk rider. He was acting like PAC was landing everything flush when half of that shyt was getting slipped.

lol, yes it is. a bunch of biased bullshyt. even Manny Steward started gettin in on that shyt. Max is good, and Roy is ok....sometimes but sometimes he is biased too, but anybody else can suck an ass. Merchant, Lampley, and the sometimes blind/senile Lederman....:trash:

Roy is the only person they got constantly talking boxing truth and balancing out the dikk riding to me... Emanuel used to drop jewels but I count stand hearing him speak

Manny Steward is my favorite trainer of all time. He definitely dropped jewels and I loved his addition, but after a while, seems like he started to join in on some of the bias. Never forget he almost burst into tears with Humberto Soto got DQ'd.

A couple of funny Manny moments.

one was when he said he thought FMJ was headed to mega-stardom, but he would like to see him cut down on some of his cussin. then shortly after that, Manny was in JT's corner against Spinks...cussin like a sailor. Just thought it was funny.

two...this is the best one. If anyone remembers the PPV telecast of DLH vs Mayorga...Lampley or someone said something about Mayorga's smoking lifestyle. Manny said something to the effect of...."well after this fight he can go back to smoking all he wants (because he was losing)...and aint gotta be cigarettes either!" :russ:

when they did the replay on HBO the following week, they completely edited that whole comment. You heard Lampley mention the smoking, then the telecast had no audio for about 10 seconds. Even if you didnt see the PPV, you could tell that audio track was muted. A lot of people who didnt see the PPV were wondering what had happened at that moment.

Who would you take Paulie off for though....that's the problem.

Paulie SHOULDN'T be there, but in the past 25 years, what white american boxer would replace him?

That's why I'm asking what happened to the white american boxer?

They can't even claim Gatti:snoop:

*Updated List*

1) Ray Mancini
2) Kelly Pavlik
3) Paulie Malignaggi
4) Mickey Ward
5) Tommy Morrison

That list is pathetic

There's a few of us your missing. :beli:

Baby Joe Mesi, he's still undefeated. :smugfavre: with wins over barrett, jirov and davaryl williamson

Litzau, i thought after the callebero win he was on the getback. until he met

Bronco McKart was a decent fighter. if it wasn't for winky, he probably would have had a title at 154.

Spadafora, was disappointing. If he wasn't too busy beaten up his girlfriend every week and shooting the bytch while she tried to leave him, while being on drugs he could of have a good fighter. i always liked him, reminded me of a southpaw version of toney.

bronco did hold a title at 154 breh..winky took it from him. spaddy was such wasted talent..that fight with dorin is one of my all time favorite fights...i actually thought he lost that shyt too..i never thought mesi was anything special...dude had a tendency to fade late in the fights...barrett nearly upset him and jirov, a former cruiser, nearly ko'ed him (and basically ended his career with the brain bleeds)..and litzau :bryan:..nah breh
