According to ABC Action News in Toledo, Ohio, former world champion Robert Easter Jr., has been charged with assault for allegedly punching a woman.

ABC Action news obtained court records, which indicate that the incident happened at around 3:38 a.m. on Saturday, August 7, 2021.

Easter is alleged to have struck a woman on the left side of her face once with a closed fist, causing her to lose consciousness.

According to the court records, the responding officer said the victim had a split lip and a chipped tooth.

Easter, 30-years-old, is now facing a charge of simple assault.

Easter (23-1-1, 14 KOs), a former lightweight champion, moved up to junior welterweight in 2019 and picked up a decision win over rugged Adrian Granados.

Back in February, Easter returned to the ring for the first time since October of 2019. He won a twelve round unanimous decision over Ryan Martin at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville. The fight took place on the undercard of Adrien Broner's comeback bout against Jovanie Santiago.

Good fight, could have gone either way, Davis probably landed the harder shots though but that apparently doesn't matter here looking at how the Brazilian girl lost her final before this fight

man that was close, i can see keyshawn was having to lunge too much to connect but he needed to just go all out in the 3rd. the first round hurt too, key was trying to gauge him and cruz was scoring enough to win. i can see though davis being better as a pro. but cruz is tricky and tough to hit clean. enjoyable fights, i never really watched amateur boxing but i'll probably go back and watch older matches. but them 3 rounds go by fast it's just scoring enough to win the round.

if they fought in a pro setting i can see cruz getting tired cause of all that movement. congrats to him though.
