Agree.

But that top end of 160 has some heavy hitters.

IMO
Charlo fight wouldn't happen
Andrade fight wouldn't happen
Murata would happen
GGG might happen (GGG kinda funny in the light sometimes)
Eubank jnr not yet, still building with new style for one or two.

Derevyanchenko already on the way down.

So it's Murata or this in some ways, or some other bus driver.

*I suppose he could go up. But he doesn't need to yet.

Alimkhanuly's really the only top ten MW calling out Andrade.

Andrade is my guy. There's a reason he doesn't get big name fights.

But he also plays that game too, like every modern, managed fighter. He prolly don't want it with Alimkhanuly unless it's mandatory.

people said that about Liam Williams too. Dude was on a winning streak and was shytting on Andrade until he got the fight and it was uppercut season for 12 rounds and he got dropped.

We already know Andrade can handle those type of fighters. For whatever reason, those are the types of fights his resume is filled with and nothing bigger ever materializes. I fault Munguia because he could easily enforce his mandatory, but refuses too. Andrade/Munguia is a 60/40 type of fight so its not like Munguia would be in over his head. Andrade doesn't even call him out so he gets some blame too.

Nobody wants to fight each other and GGG with his old ass will prolly have the only meaningful fight at 160 and he waits until the year is damn near over to do it. :snoop:

No doubt.

160-168 is a Russian roulette weight division though. I see why matchups are often risk free. Power/speed/velocity all intersect.

That being said I don’t see Munguia wanting with bigger end of 160-168. He got a career he can bang out because he’s the truth.

Just like my guy Andrade did. Pad it out. That’s the game.:francis:

I guess he wants an easy fight.

Rosario got a slow punch and a chin these days.

Stopped in the 6th imo.

Rosado a decent fight but he just lives to play spoiler nowadays. After the Jacobs fight and Bek fight he showed he is one of the top gate keepers in the game. So I can’t knock it.

Rosado still would be a top 3 name on Andrade resume :lolbron:

Edit: Rosado

Rosado got that privilege:mjpls: but he a bleeder who can’t punch and really ain’t a threat to box your head off either. Perfect opponent. Blame Bek the “bully” and Jacobs for extending his credit.

Yea I agree Munguia just treading water at this point..160 got to be the worst division when it comes to matchups and progress being made:scust: . Boxing in a sad state. That makes 2 Golden Boy fighters ducking the right to fight for a belt.
