I’m getting more convinced that it will be a coin toss by the time they fight.

It will also be a gigantic commercial/mainstream fight. Bigger than Spence/Crawford by multiples.

Spence/Crawford for as great as they are in the ring have been in Floyd’s shadow (just out of timing). They both are also super private and not into getting the limelight.

Devin and Shakur are the complete opposite. You can just see it on social media (IG) as well with follower counts, celebrity engagements, what/how they post as well.

I really think you're overestimating Devin and Shakur's commercial appeal, while simultaneously underestimating how boring of a style matchup this is on paper.

I have a feeling they’ll meet at 147 eventually. Both of them are natural welters IMO, at least from a traditional sense.

Facts, to think a fight between them has more commercial appeal than a Spence-Crawford fight(one guy has stopped 10 of his laat 11 and the other is literally collecting nikkas eye balls after laying brutal beatdowns) is kind of a reach.

Hell I done got my boys to watch 3 non mainstream fights with me this year(Charlo-Castano, Haney-Kambosos, Shakur-Valdez) and they were only happy with Charlo-Castano. They both said they would NEVER pay for a Haney or Shakur fight, and they were at the idea of them fighting each other. Said that would be the most boring fight ever. Casuals will never want to see that fight, only us in here.

commercial reach where both of these young cats are in tune with their generation..esp the one thats like a valet for hoes but off styles i dont think it would be that great a fight to watch but its a fight that im sure will go down...their paths will cross..depends in what division

Nah bro they used to box they know what they be looking at. Nuke is brutally honest, he said the fact anyone thought Valdez was a good fighter at all shows how easily people can be fooled. He said all Shakur had to do was jab and step back the whole fight, Valdez never made him make one adjustment the whole fight. Said Shakur never had to even think about a plan B, Valdez had nothing besides punching power.

I wish I would of recorded it, his ass was drunk going in on that shjt.

He got hot cause at one point in the fight Shakur was stepping back and then jabbing, not jabbing and stepping back, saying he was doing the same thing over and over again and it was predictable as fukk.

Nuke and his brother(my other potna) both think Tank would beat Shakur.

No clue how a fight between Devin vs Shakur would turn out and I won't even speculate. But I've always been more impressed with Shakur's timing and IQ. He reminds me the most of PBF in that regard.
