Caleb Truax on deck for Boo Boo:lolbron: Can't say he never fought a champ after that :umad:

Morrell will beat Benavidez:hubie:

But I like how PBC gne do this 168 round robin like how they did the 147 and somewhat how they tried to do it with 154. fukk Canelo talk to me when he stop beating up on white boyz…

Plant might be the Danny Garcia of the 168 guys..decent draw and promoter and good enough to stay near the top but unable to beat a top guy.

dude never got a belt at 140 and he may never get one at 147

fight is like a month away and dude already killing himself
That shyt ain’t that unusual though, it just sounds like that.

shyt, if I do 18-24 Rnds on the bag I usually get it.

You just gotta be smart though. Magnesium, high carb intake, electrolytes, amino acids, proteins etc. Gotta go ham on all that.

Body gets upset at you though, starts eating itself cos you went too far with the training. The ammonia smell from it breaking down muscle is pretty fascinating tbh.

It's not even debatable, Fulton HAS fought better competition.
it is very debatable :heh: are you kidding me?

lets do his 2 most known opponents - figueroa - most ppl wanted to see this run back because most think fulton didnt beat him..julio ceja has a better case of beating figueroa than fulton does..hence the pbc draw rearing its head,,and then danny roman - for all the arguments saying donaire was washed for the monster fights, in between he came back, won a belt, and took 2 zero's brutally..roman didnt do anything once he lost his belts to akhmadaliev and was gone from matchroom ...struggled in his pbc debut against someone monster iced and retired after the fulton fight

Never liked breadman :scusthov: … why did this nikka think jabbing to the body was goin to do anything to flabavidez??:snoop:

We all kno fat nikkas take body shots like scooby snacks … it’s like the whole don’t headbutt a Samoan
In Bread's defense, he wanted Plant to jab to the body & follow it up with an overhand right which he rarely did

what makes you say that?

It's because its a punch that Benavidez is open for, but nobody ever tries to throw it. He be squared up with a high guard where he barely moves his head.
Plus its just an effective shot against tall dudes that square up.

Canelo has a good uppercut he can employ on the inside, but if he gets an overhand right working too, he definitely got a shot imo.

It's not even debatable, Fulton HAS fought better competition.
Do you follow the divisions Inoue competed in earlier in his career or you just saying this based on his run at 118?
Even then it's not some slam dunk... Donaire, Manny Rodriguez, Payano, McDonnell VS Roman, Figueroa, Leo, Khegai

Is the latter really so much better? :aicmon:
and that's not counting Taguchi and Narvaez on Inoue's record from his earlier divisions.

Fulton has never met anyone as good as Inoue and it remains to be seen if Inoue has met anyone as good as Fulton but surely hasn't met anyone with Fulton's style yet.

I can imagine Fulton winning, might even pick him, now I'm undecided.
If Fulton's not hanging in the pocket but boxes off his backfoot that might be the antidote to Inoue's style. Still, Inoue only needs a few clean punches to finish you. If he had power like that at 118 I don't think it will suddenly disappear at 122 either.

One of the most intriguing fights now

getting hit by that punch has more to do with your hip angle and your spacing.

theres two ways to get hit with a right hand.

when you stand squared, you get hit by straight right hands through the center, like this.

and when you walk into a gym that is why most trainers will put you into a three quarter hip angle; thats to stop that straight right hand from hitting you. when you stand three quarter to block, the angle a straight right hand needs to have to hit you is taken away.

theres just one problem with that, and it is that, when you stand three quarter to block a straight right hand through the center, you let yourself get hit by a looping overhand right behind the glove, like this.

so on the one hand you take away straight right hands through the center.

at the cost of getting hit by looping right hands behind the glove.

but there is a solution to that also. and here it is. since he has to reach around your glove to land it, if you take a little step back, he cant reach behind your glove and that punch cant land. when you stand three quarter with your hands up, you take away the straight right hand through the center, but if you take a little step back, you will also take away that overhand right behind the glove. so that if you are standing three quarter with your hands up while scooting back just a little, a right hand literally cant hit you. you take away both of the ways a right hand is able land on you at the same time.

if you watch the canelo and bivol fight you will see bivol in that three quarter hip angle with his hands up, scooting back in little increments. theres not a lot canelo will be able to do with that, in a rematch, or in any fight. what i saw of benavidez in the plant fight is that if you flinch at him he jumps back with his hands up. that looks different but the idea there is basically the same. he does get squared up but i see him mostly operating in a three quarter hip angle, like most fighters. and if plant loaded up a right hand he would jump back and that right hand would just fall short.
