Because he was boring as shyt.

Chris Byrd and Cory were awful to watch.

Chris Byrd vs TOS is the worst fight of all time.
cory's fights werent that bad in his prime..when he started to slow down late in his career they got a little tedious not going to lie :heh:

his final fight with carlos molina was a real hard watch..he had nothing left and molina was trying his damndest to finish him and was kind of struggling until the last couple of rounds

agree about byrd although he got a lot of scorecard love for a time as champion...and yes byrd vs TOS is one of the worst fights of all time...i stayed in to watch that shyt and felt like i wasted a night

We will agree to disagree. I like my pure boxers, but sometimes I gotta draw the line.

Cory would run, not engage, not aesthetically pleasing to watch, no power, etc. He had all the ingredients to create a boring fighter. Same with Byrd.

Frank Sanchez Pumped To Reunite With Eddy Reynoso, Canelo Alvarez

Heavyweight contender Frank Sanchez believes he made the right decision by reuniting with trainer Eddy Reynoso and Team Canelo Alvarez.
Sanchez returned to the ring last Saturday night, with a first round blowout of Daniel Martz at the Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California. The bout was part of the undercard to the junior middleweight clash between Sebastian Fundora and Brian Mendoza.
“I am very happy getting together with Reynoso and Canelo,” Sanchez said to George Ebro “They have always been very special to me and from the moment they saw me arrive they hugged me as if I had never left. They reinforced the idea that soon I will be world champion."
For reasons beyond his control, Sanchez left Team Canelo to go to Los Angeles where he was placed under the orders of respected Hall of Fame trainer in Joe Goossen, who prepared the Cuban boxer for a fight in October of 2022 against the Puerto Rico's Carlos Negrón.
While acknowledging Goossen's meritorious work, Sanchez never stopped thinking about the good times under Reynoso's aegis and did not rest until he returned to his former teacher, with whom he had established a very fluid and successful communication.
"I feel that Reynoso and I have excellent chemistry and that is something that helps a boxer a lot, especially when he is in an important place. On the other hand, you have a Canelo Alvarez who spends time with you, puts his arm over him and tells you that you are going to be champion. That is something that motivates me a lot."
Sánchez (22-0, 15 KOs) caught the attention of the heavyweight division when he notched the best victory of his career in October 2021, by outboxing and dropping previously undefeated Efe Ajagba en route to a unanimous decision victory.

i remember watching this with my dad and he tried to teach me a life lesson about this fight

talking about wlad was too muscular and that is the reason on why he lost the fight like how he did...he was like you should be lean and mean...i had bulked up to like 215-220 around that time and he thought i looked too big :dead:

Jared Anderson reminds me a little of Lamon Brewster

I was arguing with someone on Facebook and they said because Jermell Charlo has an L on his record that he's an overrated bum and his undisputed status means nothing.

Is this an actual boxing fan? Or a casual fan like myself?

It sounds like something I would say.
