goons in the cut tryna talk you out yo necklace
Canelo a smart dude... he had to make the fight look close like it could go either way or else you know damn well Floydie wouldn't have wanted no parts of ginger.. funny is I think Pac tried that same shyt with Bradley and it backfired. .. but the difference was that for some reason in the canelo/trout fight they were able to see the judges scores for every round... why you think canelo fell back them last few rounds being much less active??

You right he was gassed :youngsabo:

:lupe::snoop: praying for a Floyd loss again, breh? This one won't be it

I'm trying to understand this concept of forcing counters instead of waiting for you opponent to do something and then firing back.

I've read the good counter punches bait you to throw a punch they want to counter and which makes it easier to counter.

I know they use feints and give fake openings but to me it would seem that could get in a situation where they are waiting all night for a particular punch to counter.

Or they go from one punch to the next punch like " Ok I just counter the striaght now let me to setup a counter of the hook, then a jab"

It seems that process is a little mechanical idk.

How does it work?

basically a good and effective counterpuncher has to have good reflexes, accuracy, and above average hand spped....if the process seems mechanic to you its because if youre training you do get put through counterpunching drills..do them shyts over and over until its muscle memory

here's a site that explains it well - Counter-Punching
