Don't see what was so bad about Kellerman. He was way better than Larry merchants racist senile ass. Especially in those final years. He had become completely unhinged and could barely even finish a sentence. And Max and Roy had better chemistry.

Well when you put it like that, he was 100x better than Larry Merchant
My view was more so that during the broadcast, he was always overtalking Roy Jones Jr, which was kind of off putting. And sometimes I wish it was just Jim Lampley and Roy as a duo, because they had amazing chemistry

It's 2025 and we are still spewing this disingenuous talking point

I understand why he didn't sign. I'm saying that if he did sign with them, he would have been promoted correclty.

Man not only did he popped dirty, his shyt wasn't just like a supplement or a pill or a elevated level of some sort

This dude was injecting himself like four different steroids, TWICE!

Then when you put Daniel he came completely out of shape
Right, he is/was amateur hour when it comes to PEDS, had all the ones that weekend warriors take in his system, and as you said, he did that on numerous occasions, not a one off, had huge amounts of different PEDS in his system again and again, like he is/was addicted to PEDS.

Nah playa.. This is what you asked

And some of those examples I gave still hold up even after the goalpost was moved.. Hatton became the man at 140
Spinks was the man at HW
Pac the man at 140 and 126
Teofimo presently at 140
All never held the WBA or WBC belts in those divisions when they became the man
Hell you can even argue Calzaghe was the man at 168 before winning the wba and wbc vs Kessler

How was the goal post moved when the point was the linage is what made someone the man, and I ask for who became the man without linahe and you proceed to list people who became the man via linage? My point still stands linage creates most cases of "the man", I.literly state the exception to the rule of someone becoming the man or at least a factor in boxing if we want to argue "what the man means" (you are too dumb to even do that) is someone with a culture force behind them or deemed exciting to reel in casual, and as stated those are far and few

Lou Duva was a dipshyt.

But more interesting was seeing how Paz has a boxers physique in this video, and vs RJJ he was damn near Ultimate Warrior's physique. PED game back then was something else.
was just watching RJJ interview with Ward & he said he felt terrible after, he really didn’t wanna hurt him bc he knew he was coming off a broken neck

I always thought Tarver was so underrated as a commentator

bro i always said the best iteration of PBC was PBC on Spike where he was one of the lead commentators...that was PBC that had potential to be something

Easily the best one. Opening fight on Spike was Khan vs Algeri I believe. Very very good fight

Damn shame cause that version was the SHYT
they used to air some crazy fights...some high level FOTY's, some low level FOTY's, some upsets..much more than on the other networks they were on

fonfara vs cleverly is still one of the best fights to have aired on PBC TV...its easily a top 2-3 minimum
