Still doesn't change what Roy said. Sugar Ray beats Floyd

If Floyd would've faced Paul Williams, Vernon Forrest, and Margarito... Fighters in their prime that he ducked because they have a physical advantage over him.... Maybe this video would have been funnier

Can't duck lions in your weight class, turn yourself into "Money Mayweather" carefully picking opponents, then criticize fighters for losing for challenging themselves to go up against Lions. Doesn't work that way

Yea I just don't think Floyd matches up well with any of the 4 kings. His best chance would be against Duran. But I think those guys were too big and mean at 147 for him. Sugar ray woulda been able to hurt Floyd like mosley did but he woulda been able to finish the job. Floyd never really fought many guys with his athleticism. And when he did he usually always got clipped(zab/Mosley). He also had issues with guys who could take his punches and press forward on him(Castillo/maidana). Floyd's 147 run was never that impressive to me.

I always wanted to see Floyd fight pwill, winky, and Vernon Forrest. I think all those guys woulda gave him hell. Winkys jab and size woulda been hard for Floyd to overcome.

I think Tommy Hearns knocks out Floyd pretty fast. Floyd never dealt with anyone either that height, power, and speed.
Why did he and Winky Wright never fight again?

Exactly, hell...remember a Winky Wright fight was once talked about too. Somebody must have pulled Floyd to the side and said that's nightmare match up for him since you need some type of physicality to compete with Winky. So yeah I definitely get what you're saying.

It's one thing to outskill a skilled person your size or similar stature, it whole different battle trying to outskill a skilled person that is naturally bigger than you too.

exactly the ones that beat him and/or gave him trouble moved forward and managed to get him off his rhythm by constantly attacking with volume or roughing him up

I'm not even sure he'd beat even The Punisher at WW. He would've given Floyd nightmares

the size difference, volume, and the fact he was a lefty i feel would have always given floyd issues...but unfortunately its one of those what if fights that gets discredited because of the way punisher lost to carlos quintana the first time around...and you can hardly blame them

facts and those guys were either Winky's size or naturally bigger.
That strategy won't work for most smaller guys cuz it usually requires punching power. Shane had a chance due to that, but a guy like Floyd wouldn't.

He'd have to go all Pac/Soliman with the work rate and we know that ain't happening. One of the worst match ups you could possibly think of for Floyd.

I feel you. I think its 50/50 maybe Floyd 55/45.

Floyd's reflexes and boxing ability would give him the edge, but if the Punisher from the 12th rd of the Margarito fight shows up and decides to box aggressively for 12 rds....Floyd would be in for a long night. Paul's handspeed was always at its quickest when he boxed. It'll look like how all the Brits think a Khan/Floyd fight would look, but more violent.
